PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive roller having a low hardness and a small permanent deformation by forming a conductive elastic layer with a polyurethane elastomer obtained by the interaction of aliphatic polyisocyanate and specified polyol with a specified isocyanate index. SOLUTION: A conductive roller comprises a rotating shaft 5 and a conductive elastic layer concentrically disposed on the outer periphery of the shaft, wherein the conductive elastic layer is formed by a polyurethane elastomer obtained by the interaction of aliphatic polylsocyanate and polyol where a conductivity applying agent is dispersed with an isocyanate index of 80-120. In this case, the conductive roller 2 is a roller which is formed by concentrically integrally stacking a conductive elastic layer formed by a polyurethane elastomer on the outer periphery of a rotating shaft 5 formed by making surface treatment such as rust proof or the like to the metal or the like, and further disposing a surface layer for covering the outer periphery of the conductive elastic layer to give a surface performance at need, and has an electric resistance of about 10<3> -10<10>Ω.cm. |
