MULTI-MINI DISK DRIVING DEVICE AND THE METHOD THEREOF

An apparatus and method for storing, exchanging, and reproducing a plurality of mini disc by driving a solenoid and two motors is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a disc insertion section(10) through which a disc(1) is inserted and extracted; a disc stocking section(20) which is formed by a plurality of disc storing portions(21, 22, 23) in which the disc(1) inserted into the disc insertion section(10) is stored; a disc pick-up section(30) in which the disc is reproduced; a disc loading section(60) which feeds the disc(1) stored in the disc stocking section(20) to the disc pick-up section(30); a disc selection section(70) which is moved to one of the disc storing portions of the disc stocking section(20); a pick-up holder feeding section(30) which moves upward and downward the disc(1) which is loaded to the disc pick-up section(30); and a mode conversion section(40) which selects one among the disc loading section(60), the disc selection section(70), and the pick-up holder feeding section and transmits the power of a driving motor(50) to it.
