FIELD: sorbents production. SUBSTANCE: sorbents possessing high sorption- kinetic characteristics and good hydromechanical stability are manufactured by way of mixing sorbent powder with acetylcellulose solution in a hydrophilic solvent prepared by redissolving polymer coagulated when sodium carbonate solution has been added into polymer solution; dispersing thus prepared suspension in weak mineral acid solution; washing grains with water; and drying in the air. Invention may be applied at chemical industry and nonferrous metallurgy enterprises using different-class inorganic compounds. EFFECT: improved procedure. 1 tbl, 1 dwg
