A pallet for a raw tyre cover having a circular bottom plate (11), and a supporting portion extending from the periphery of the bottom plate for supporting one of the outer side surfaces of a side wall of a raw tyre cover. The supporting portion has a first receiving surface (13) of conical form inclining downwardly towards the bottom plate (11) at an angle alpha to the bottom plate, and a second receiving surface of a conical form extending upwardly from an upper edge of the first receiving surface at an angle beta smaller than the angle alpha .
