The road cleaning device consists of a sprayer (30) connected to the outlet (10a) of a tank (10). The sprayer diffuses a falling liquid spray from the tank. The device can be mounted on a vehicle in place of a fertiliser spreader. The sprayer is constituted by a circular blade (33) which is inclined towards the ground in the direction of the tank. The blade internal face (33a), turned towards the ground, faces the outlet of a nozzle (23a) connected to the tank outlet. The inclination of the blade is adjustable between an angle of 40 deg and 70 deg . The sprayer is mounted at the outlet of an emptying pipe (20) from the tank which is welded to the base.
