PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily separate mold bodies after cultivation by a simple and clean method that can proliferate the mold in the pellet form in the process of cultivation by using, as an ingredient of culture medium, a natural nitrogen source at a specific ratio. SOLUTION: This method uses, as a ingredient of culture medium, 0.5-1.5% of a natural nitrogen source (preferably a yeast extract or peptone) when cultivating mold, preferably, e.g. belonging to Aspergillus or Penicillium family. In practical embodiment of this method, spherical or ellipsoidal pellets of mold bodies of 1-5mm in diameter are obtained by culturing for example, spores of Aspergillus-oryzae (IAM2024) proliferated in a Czapek-Dox slant agar medium, and then inoculating the resultant spores as spawn at a to-liquid ratio of 10% in a culture medium 181, which is composed of 10% glucose, 0.7% yeast extract, 0.1% potassium phosphate, 0.05% magnesium sulfate, 0.05% silicon, and has pH4, under condition of aerated cultivation at 30 deg.C for 7 days. |
