PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermal recording material of high quality having high sensitivity, equipped with the heat resistance of blank paper and excellent in image preservability. SOLUTION: In a thermal recording material wherein a thermal color forming layer containing a leuco dye and a coupler is provided on a support and a protective layer is provided thereon. 2,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone is used in the thermal color forming layer as the coupler and an emulsion of 4,4'- diallyloxydiphenylsulfone and fatty acid amide with an m.p. of 120 deg.C or higher is together used as a ensitizer. By this constitution, a thermal recording material of high quality equipped with the heat resistance of blank paper, having high sensitivity and excellent in image preservability is obtained. |
