PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the expansion of a spectrum by improving the accuracy of distortion compensation. SOLUTION: A distortion measurement signal generated by a transmission signal generating section 310 for a training period is modulated by an orthogonal modulator 3035 and amplified by an amplifier 3041. The amplified signal is demodulated by an orthogonal demodulator 3051 via a directional coupler 3042 and a 'reciprocal of distortion' of the amplifier is calculated by a divider 3061. Furthermore, a square of the amplitude of the demodulation signal is calculated by an amplitude square device 3071. An amplitude square interpolation device 308 and a distortion reciprocal interpolation device 309 interpolate two adjacent calculated values at a prescribed ratio to calculate the interpolated amplitude square and the interpolated distortion reciprocal so as to improve the distortion compensation accuracy. |
