The method involves the transmission organisation in transmitting information for individual windows during the VBI intervals. The individual windows can extend over the entire screen of a television set, or preferably over an optionally limited region. Each window contains the information, at intervals, for the continuous display of images or symbols. A computer in the transmitter system generates the image or symbol representations, using the timing control.
