Communication arrangement for bus of building control system

The arrangement consists of a chip card control unit (10) which can read and write data from and to a chip card memory (3, 2) on the chip card. The control unit processes the data and exchanges it with bus subscribers on an installation bus system (11). The chip card memory can also be read or written by a read/write unit and/or by a PC over a data interface connected to the bus system. The arrangement may be constructed from an indivisible chip card control unit, or out of installed devices divisible into two parts.
