<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the electronic equipment which is superior in operability and appearance. SOLUTION: A personal computer is equipped with an equipment main body 10, and a keyboard 12, an arm rest part 14 which is positioned in front of the keyboard and where hands can be mounted, and a storage part 22 which is open at the arm rest part 14 are provided on the top surface of this equipment main body. A remote operation unit 24 is mounted on the storage part 22 detachably. The remote operation unit 24 has the operation part 26 and a plurality of operation keys 28, 29, and 30 of a pointing device which are exposed at the arm rest part 14 when stored in the storage part 22 and a transmission part 32 which transmits input signals of the pointing device and operation keys. In the storage part 22, a reception part 34 is provided which receives the input signals transmitted by the transmission part 32.</p> |
