Method for transferring messages in a multinodal computer system

In an multi-nodal computer system (SYS), a processor (Pxm) from a first node (Nx) transmits a predetermined size message (MESS) in the form of a writing operation in the communication module (ISLx) of the first node. This is transmitted to the communication module (ISLy) of the second node (Ny). At the second node this is arranged in a queue of received messages (FIFO-MGT) in the order to their reception. This is subsequently output by a processor (Pyn) in the second node (Ny) in the form of a read operation in the communication module (ISLy) of this node, in order to process the information contained within this message. The communication module which incorporates the queue may transmit a response which specifies that the message has been placed in the queue.
