PROCESS FOR PREPARING FOAM QUENCHING POLYORGANOSILOXANES

FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: claimed invention describes process for foam quenching polyorganosiloxanes which can be used to prevent formation of foam in aqueous and non-aqueous media in various industries. The claimed process comprises preparing foam quenching polyorganosiloxanes by heating mixture of trimethylchllorosilane, silicon tetrachloride and of hydrolysis of dimethylchlorosilane or constitutents thereof as cyclic or linear products calculated for structural link (CH)SiO used in (0.02-0.03): (0.2-0.3) ratio per 1 mole of hydrolysis product fragments (CH)SiO in the presence of higher fatty alcohol C-Cor C-Cfractions or 2-ethylhexyl alcohol in organic solvent. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process.
