<p>PURPOSE: To allow instant watching of images without rewinding the picture images recorded by a user at the time of reproduction by making it arbitrarily settable whether or not to allow automatic rewinding of a magnetic tape from the reserved screen to the recording start position. CONSTITUTION: The present magnetic recording/reproducing device is capable of making it arbitrarily settable whether or not to automatically rewind a magnetic tape to the tape position at the time of starting timer recording after the user finishes recording. For example, when the user selects 'yes' on the automatic rewinding selection screen as shown in the illustrated menu screen, a timer controller 3 outputs a control signal to a system controller 5 based on this command information and the system controller 5 controls the count value of a counter 6, e.g. installed on the display section at zero.</p> |
