Universal antenna housing, esp. for ultra high frequency or super high frequency antennas

The antenna housing has a hollow metal stay tube (3) which is open at both ends. Two fixing flanges (4,5) are positioned at both ends of the tube and plate-shaped terminating discs (8,9) are formed on the ends of the tube, close to the flanges and perpendicular to the tube's axis (7). A protective tube (2) which is made of insulating material is arranged between the discs and detachably fixed to their edges. The upper terminating disc has an annular groove (20) around its edge and opens towards the lower disc in the assembled state. The upper edge of the cylindrical protective tube fits into the groove after a sealing ring (21).
