[Also in Division F4] A height adjustment unit for a heating appliance comprises a pressed steel support platform 1 with a trough portion 4, a moulded plastic or die cast metal front foot 2 and an L-shaped rear foot 3 having a long limb 11 and a short limb 12, said unit either being arranged in a high position (as shown) or a low position, in which case the platform 1 is assembled with the trough 4 rearwards, the foot 2 being screwed into the hole 6 and the foot 3 turned around and screwed into position with the long limb 11 lying along the underside of the trough 4, the length of the short limb 12 plus the depth of the trough 4 being equivalent to the length of the foot 2. In another embodiment, the front foot can be formed of two parts such that on turning the back foot through 90 degrees, the top part of the front foot can be either fitted or removed depending on the necessary conditions for keeping the appliance level.</p> |
