PURPOSE: To enable the control of coating state and drying. CONSTITUTION: A coating drum 1 is provided with a rotary shaft 9 at the center, and plural stirring members 16 are attached on the outer periphery of the rotary shaft with a specified space. A nozzle 20 for spraying coating material is placed at a supplying part 4 of the coating drum 1 in a state directing inside the drum. This coating apparatus is provided with a vibratory conveyor-type dryer 2, in which coated rice grains are supplied on a perforated plate 28 and dried with the hot air heated by a heater 30 and sent onto the perforated plate 28 from downside while they are transferred. Further, the hot air is kept at about 10 deg.C higher based on the outside air temperature. |
