PURPOSE: To attain a high-speed data transfer by using a conventional existent data transfer path by dividing one file into plural parts and parallelly transferring them through plural data transfer paths. CONSTITUTION: A computer network is composed of plural computers from 1-11 to 1-1a, plural data transfer paths from 1-21 to 1-2b and plural file dividing/ coupling devices from 1-31 to 1-3a. Besides, the respective computers from 1-11 to 1-1a are respectively connected through the file dividing/coupling devices from 1-31 to 1-3a to the plural data transfer paths from 1-21 to 1-2b. Thus, when transferring the file from the computer 1-11 on the transmission side to the computer 1-12, for example, the file of a transfer object is divided by the file dividing/coupling device 1-31 and transferred through the data transfer paths from 1-21 to 1-2b and the divided files are coupled by the file dividing/ coupling device 1-32. |
