A rake for cleaning the grating (3) of a screening plant (1) has a comb (7) secured to rake arms (5, 6) and made of a plurality of teeth (13-15) arranged on a crossbeam. In order to allow the individual teeth (13-15) of the rake (4) to be easily exchanged, the teeth (13-15) are not permanently soldered or welded to the crossbeam (17) but are rather removably arranged on the cross-beam (17). For that purpose, the teeth (13) have an opening (16) through which the crossbeam (17) is inserted. The predetermined spacing between the individual teeth (13-15) is maintained by exchangeable, sleeve-shaped spacers (18, 19). In order to give to the comb (7) the required stability in the relatively rough working conditions in a clarification plant, the teeth (13-15) are preferably form-fitted at the side opposite to the grating (3) to a metal section (24) secured to the crossbeam (17) by screws (25). |
