Aq. silicone resin compsn. giving heat- and corrosion-resistant coating

Aq. coating compsn. comprises (A) an aq. binder, (B) metal powder and/or inorganic pigment, (C) opt. SiO2 with a BET surface area of /- 50m<2>/g., which may be hydrophobised, and (D) opt. water. The binder contains (a) organopolysiloxane resin (I), (b) mono-organosilanolate (II) and/or condensates obtd. by eliminating water from (II), (c) aq. colloidal SiO2 soln. and (d) water. Also claimed are the prodn. of the compsn. and the use of binder (A) in heat-resistant, non-heat-resistant or corrosion-resistant lacquers.
