PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a summary writing support system, a distribution device, terminals, a summary writing support method, and a program that can enable users even including people with visual disabilities to take part in real-time summary writing tasks as a summary scribe.SOLUTION: A summary writing support system 40 includes scribe terminals 20 and a distribution device 10. The distribution device 10 includes: a notification sending unit 11 that sends a prior commencement notification prior to the commencement of an assigned time that has been assigned to each of the scribes of the scribe terminals 20, a commencement notification at the time of the commencement of the assigned time, and an end notification at the time of the end of the assigned time; and an audio distribution unit 12 that distributes utterance audio data to the scribe terminals 20. A scribe terminal 20 includes: an audio reproduction unit 21 that plays audio data, and operates to mute the reproduction volume from when a prior commencement notification is received until when a commencement notification is received; and a notification unit 22 that notifies a scribe 42 of the reception of notifications via audio alerts.
