PURPOSE: To provide an image processor which generates an image similar to an image obtained by rotating and arranging a line sensor camera through image processing without rotating and arranging the line sensor camera. CONSTITUTION: This image processor is equipped with an A/D converting circuit 30 which converts image data from the line sensor camera into a digital signal, a binarizing circuit 32 which binarizes the digital signal with a proper threshold, an image converting circuit 34, and a run-length coding circuit 36 which converts an image into run lengths. The image converting circuit 34 consists of an input circuit, plural even DRAMs, plural odd DRAMs, a control circuit which addresses those DRAMs, and an output circuit. |
