FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: level has a casing with at least one support plane. Sensitive member is installed in the casing so as to be rotated through a preset angle. Electronic unit is installed in the casing provided with audio indicator. Sensitive member is made in the form of a capsule with power supply and measuring electrodes immersed into current conducting liquid that is inhomogeneous by density and conductivity. Electronic unit is made in the form of generator with outputs connected to capsule power supply electrodes. Non-linear, phase-sensitive detector input is connected to capsule measuring electrode. Audio indicator input is connected to the output of non-linear phase- sensitive detector. Control input of the detector is connected to generator synchronization output. EFFECT: high accuracy. 9 dwg
