FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: device to determine wheel pressure of running vehicle is section of rail with hole made in rail web. Placed inside the hole on line equidistantly from opposite edges of hole are resistance strain gauges. Owing to transfer of resistance strain gauges from lower deformation zone to higher deformation zone influence of eccentricity of results of measurement is excluded. Sensitivity at measuring is two-fold greater. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities.
