PURPOSE: To provide a gasket which does not elute a lubricant and is improved in sliding resistance. CONSTITUTION: This gasket consists of a front end 1 in contact with a medicinal liquid, a rear end 2 and a sidewall part 3. This rear end 2 has a plunger rod connecting means 21. The sidewall part 3 has a first sliding contact part 31 with the inside wall of the outside cylinder 4 of a syringe. This first sliding contact part 31 is supported in a cantilever type by the intermediate part of the sidewall part 3 and is formed to a convergent thin annular shape extending in such a manner that its outside diameter expands gradually toward the front end side. The rear end side from the intermediate part of the sidewall part 3 may be provided with a second sliding contact part 32 similar to the first sliding contact part 31. |
