PURPOSE: To ensure a high dielectric constant and low tanδ in a giga-hertz band, superior formability and workability and to reduce the sizes of electronic appliances by using a composite material obtd. by mixing rare earth element- contg. dielectric ceramic powder with an org. polymer resin as a material for an electronic circuit board. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric porcelain compsn. is prepd. by incorporating 0.003-6wt.% Mn into a principal compsn. represented by the formula aLn2 Ox .bAl2 O3 .cCaO.dTiO2 (where Ln is at least one among Nd, Y, La, Ce, Pr, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Er and Yb, (a), (b), (c) and (d) show molar ratio, 0.056<=a<=0.214, 0.056<=b<=0.214, 0.286<=c<=0.500, 0.230<=d<=0.470, a+b+c+d=1 and 3<=x<=4). This compsn. is fired at 1,200-1,600 deg.C and pulverized to 3-125μm average particle diameter and 10-95wt.% of the resultant dielectric ceramic powder is mixed with 90-5wt.% org. polymer resin to obtain the objective resin-ceramic composite material. |
