PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, inexpensive assembly easy to fabricate by fixing a stator driving winding, fixed to a coil on an axial abutment face and adapted to be received in an internal annular space in a movable portion of a magnetic circuit, to the movable portion of the magnetic circuit in cooperation with permanent magnets opposed to the stator driving winding. SOLUTION: A movable portion 11 is fixed to a rotor and four permanent magnets 29, 32 are provided to determine angular positions of the rotor when the rotor is at rest. Only one magnet is however required for positioning the rotor. Radial force for easily decentering the rotor is offset by using four permanent magnets 18-21 for keeping an assembly balanced. Coils 22-25 are excited so as to have magnetism with polarity shown by an arrowmark, resulting in the rotor to start rotation in the direction of the arrowmark F. A combination of a motor and an axial abutment face provides sufficiently less volume for a very simple and inexpensive assembly.
