PURPOSE: To drive a servomotor without applying the excessive load of the generation of extremely high speed clock to a CPU even if a high speed is required to the servomotor by a method wherein digital data are generated and outputted by the CPU as the target speed data. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 11 generates 6-bit digital data DD which show the target speed of a servomotor M and outputs them to a speed regulation unit 20. A speed detection unit 22 detects the actual rotation status and generates speed detection data KD and outputs them to the speed regulation unit 20. The speed regulation unit 20 compares the target speed data DD with the speed detection data KD and controls a driving unit 21 with digital signals so as to make the speed of the servomotor M follow the target speed. With this constitution, the servomotor can be driven without applying the excessive load of the generation of high speed clock to the CPU 11. |
