The invention concerns an entertainment system which comprises at least one money-operated entertainment machine (1) provided with: a symbol-bearing chance game device (4); at least one risk game device (11) which, when a payoff already won is used as the stake, increases the payoff when there is a risk of losing, and comprises a risk-display scale (12) comprising a plurality of display components (13) which are illuminated according to the specific payoffs; and a computer-controlled unit for controlling the course of the game. In order to make the risk game accessible to a wide public, the risk game device (11) is connected either to a separately installed risk-display column (17), which is similar to the risk-display scale (12), or to a separately hung wall display which is similar to the risk-display scale (12). The risk game can be displayed simultaneously with the risk-display scale (12) in the display column or wall display.
