An input signal protection circuit in a DVR(Digital Video Recorder) is provided to install an attenuator before an AGC(Automatic Gain Controller) and stably input a signal of a certain voltage or less to the AGC. An attenuator(40), installed before an AGC(30), attenuates a signal level of a camera image. The attenuator(40) attenuates the signal level of the camera image by 1/N so that the signal level inputted to the AGC(30) has a certain voltage or less. If the signal level attenuated by the attenuator(40) has the certain voltage or less, the AGC(30) automatically amplifies a voltage of the camera image as the certain voltage.
