PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for molding a golf ball, and the golf ball molded using the die that can maintain the predetermined shape of dimples formed near a parting line even if protrusions and burrs formed on the parting line are polished. SOLUTION: The die 1 for molding the golf ball includes body parts 2, 3 of upper and lower molds, and these body parts are joined to form a cavity 4 inside the die. The body parts 2, 3 of the upper and lower molds are provided with grooves 6 for forming protrusive land parts which are to be polished after molding the ball, in a cavity wall surface 10 near the entire circumference of the parting line 5 formed by joining the body parts.
