PURPOSE: To protect a laser power supply against moisture condensation so as not to cause damage to an electric part or an electric circuit and to enable a laser device to be lessened in size and simplified in structure. CONSTITUTION: An exciting lamp 10 and a YAG rod (laser medium) 12 of a laser oscillating section are arranged in a chamber 14. In a laser power supply, electrical parts or devices large in heat release value such as diodes D1 to D6 , an IGBT 26, and a GTR 30 of a three-phase full-wave rectifier circuit 24 and the output transistors of a drive circuits 34 and 36 are mounted on a heat sink 46. A water-cooling device 50 supplies pure water (cooling water) DW which is kept at prescribed temperatures such as temperatures of 25 to 35 deg.C to the chamber 14 where the laser oscillation section is housed through the intermediary of pipings 70 and 74 and also the heat sink 46 of the laser power supply through the intermediary of pipings 72 and 76. |
