INFORMATION TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To simplify operation and to easily grasp acquired information in the case of acquiring required information by personal computer(PC) communication using an on-vehicle computer. CONSTITUTION: A PC/processor 2 prepares an information menu selected by an operator and transmits the menu and a display method together to a base station 7 through an automobile telephone 3. An interface converter 9 interpretes the information menu and accesses a PC communication center 10 to acquire required information. The acquired information is edited or converted into a display method specified by the converter 9 and the edited or converted information is transmitted to a vehicle 100 through a network 8 and the base station 7, received by the PC/processor 2 and outputted to a display 1 or a speaker 5.
