摘要 PURPOSE: To enhance the degree of design and enhance the fire resistance by letting a coating layer be formed over the surface of a rigid substrate, which produces a foamed fire resistant layer when heated. CONSTITUTION: A primer processing layer 21 is interposed in a boundary surface between a coating layer 20 applied on the surface of a rigid substrate 30 and the rigid substrate 30 so as to allow joined strength to be increased, and furthermore, a finishing layer 60 is given thereto as a topcoat. In this case, as coating material, the mixture of the binding material of carbide forming material with foaming agent is used, and fire resistant foamed carbide is to be produced when the aforesaid mixture is heated. Therefore, fire resistant carbide is formed in a coating layer 40 because of flame and heat in case of a fire, and foaming material is then foamed, so that a fire resistant layer 10 as thick as required is thereby formed. Since a foamed fire resistant layer 10 increases its thickness by itself, its heat insulating effect is enhanced, heat transfer to a ceiling plenum section at the back face side is blocked, and heat transfer to the rigid substrate 30 is thereby prevented.
