FIELD: heavy-current semiconductor engineering; power supplies for heavy-power lasers; electric-charge cleaners of industrial wastes. SUBSTANCE: pulse generator has D.C.. voltage supply, charging circuit set up of series-connected first diode and first winding of saturation transformer, regenerating circuit set up of series-connected second diode and second winding of saturation transformer, switching circuit of series-connected capacitor, saturable reactor of reversed diode thyristor, and third diode, load circuit, as well as charger connected in parallel to capacitor; triggering unit is connected in parallel with reversed diode thyristor; first diode cathode is connected to first capacitor lead, second diode cathode, to starting lead of second winding of transformer, first diode anode, to finishing lead of transformer first winding; positive lead of power supply is connected to starting lead of first transformer winding and to finishing lead of its second winding; negative lead of power supply is connected to negative terminal of charger and to second lead of capacitor; positive lead of triggering unit is connected to cathode of reversed diode thyristor and to anode of third diode; load circuit is inserted between cathode of third diode and second lead of capacitor; saturable reactor is connected between anode of reversed diode thyristor and first lead of capacitor. Novelty is that generator has, in addition, switching element and its control-current shaper; switching element is inserted between second-diode anode and negative lead of power supply. Switching element is thyristor whose cathode is connected to anode of second diode and control current shaper is connected to gate electrode of this thyristor; switching element may be also made as saturable reactor with demagnetizing winding connected to control current shaper. EFFECT: provision for controlled output voltage. |
