<p>PURPOSE: To prevent deformation of a spring piece, scraping off of a circuit, bad insertion feeling of a board and coming off of a stopping plate by forming a curved part whose cross section in the width direction is circular arc over a rear plate part from a contact plate part of a contact spring piece. CONSTITUTION: In a contact terminal 1, a contact plate part 5 of a spring piece 4 standing from a bottom plate part 2 having an opening 3 is formed so as to protrude from the opening 3, and a rear plate part 6 having a stopping plate 12 at the tip is bent in the upper part of the contact plate part 5. A curved part 5b in the rear half of the contact plate part 5 and a curved part 6a in the lower half of the rear plate part 6 continuously formed are formed in a circular arc in the width direction in which a side end 13 is higher than a central part 14, and no contact projection is formed in the contact plate part 5. Deflection rigidity of the plate parts 5, 6 is increased by the curved parts 5b, 6a. When the terminal 1 is housed in a connector housing and a circuit board is inserted into the contact plate part 5, the stopping plate 12 is surely brought into contact with an opening edge 2a of the bottom plate part 2, and the rear plate part 6 does not deform. Since a projection is not formed, no scraping off of a circuit occur.</p> |
