<p>PURPOSE: To provide a binder type carrier for the binary developer most adequate to a carrier developing system for recycling the carrier attached to a photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION: The developer carrier for developing the electrostatic charge image comprises fine ferromagnetic particles and thermosetting resin particles has the following particle diameter distribution; (1) 50μm <= weight average particle diameter D50 <=110μm, (2) the particles having diameters of <=45μm amount to <=2wt.%, (3) the particles satisfying 45μm < particle diameter <=75μm amount to 20-60wt.%, (4) the particles satisfying 75νm < particle diameter <=125μm amount to 35-80wt.%, and (5) the particles of > 125μm diameter amount to <=10wt.%. The electrostatic charge image is developed by using the developer comprising this carrier and a toner and recovering the developer remaining on the photoreceptor without being transferred on a transfer material and reusing the recovered developer.</p> |
