PURPOSE: To obtain a monolithic ceramic capacitor which prevents the dislocation of a plurality of ceramic sintered bodies from each other and enhances a non-defective rate by a method wherein the ceramic sintered bodies are put into a through hole whose inner wall face has been covered with an elastic body and the ceramic sintered bodies are superposed and held. CONSTITUTION: Two ceramic sintered bodies 1, 1 in which one pair of edges with led-out internal electrodes are lined up in such a way that the edges become the same plane are put into a through hole which is formed in a holding plate 3 and covered with an elastic body in the inner wall face. Then, end parts including the edges of the two ceramic sintered bodies 1, 1 are superposed and held in a state that they protrude from the surface and the rear surface of the holding plate 3. Then, the edges of the superposed and held ceramic sintered bodies 1, 1 and end parts including side faces adjacent to the edges are coated with a conductive paste for external-electrode formation, the paste is dried, and external-electrode paste films are formed. Thereby, the ceramic sintered bodies 1, 1 are fixed, bonded and held by the external-electrode paste films. After that, the ceramic sintered bodies 1, 1 are taken out from the holding plate 3, the external-electrode paste films are baked, and external electrodes 4 are formed. |
