The vehicle windscreen wiper comprises a wiper arm (10) pivoted on a driving head (16) about a pivoting spindle (X-X,26) which extends transversely to the wiper longitudinal direction. A spiral spring (28), whose axis (Y-Y) is displaced from the pivoting axis, is located in a longitudinal housing (22) in the drive head and acts on the wiper arm to press it against the windscreen. The spring shank (34), at one end of the spring, extends along the spring axis and is supported and guided by a sliding guide (48). The shank hooked end (36) is connected to a hook (38) having two angled branches (40,42). |
