PURPOSE: To provide an antenna, for which mirror precision is improved and weight is lightened, by making axially woven fabric, for which three fibers cross at a certain angle, into an antenna mirror surface and holding it with mirror surface supporting structure. CONSTITUTION: An antenna for satellite mounting is composed of a mirror surface 1 and mirror surface supporting structure 2. The mirror surface 1 is produced by impregnating resin in one layer of the triaxially woven fabric of carbon fibers, prepregnating it and molding it while using a mirror-shaped die later. Besides, the mirror surface structure is CFRP(carbon fiber reinforced plastic) made frame structure. A main antenna is constituted by joining the mirror surface 1 and the mirror surface supporting structure 2. Concerning this structure, the difference of physical values caused by directions is reduced, pseudo isotropy is shown and load is distributed in three directions so that strength, rigidity and impact resistance can be improved. Besides, even the part where the fibers are overlapped from three directions, high mirror precision can be provided without increasing the thickness of this part. |
