The coupling comprises a tubular component (10) with at least one fold (12) in it which allows it to extend and maintain the link between the tank and inlet pipe in the event of an impact. The coupling is made in one piece from a thermoplastic or elastomer material such as nitrile-based PVC, and it incorporates a corrugation or spiral (23) which allows it to bend. The coupling can be, for example, 150 mm long and able to extend to 250 mm.
