<p>PURPOSE: To provide an information collecting device/method which can effectively collect the information for each connection set in a communication network that transmits a cell containing data. CONSTITUTION: A storage means 14 includes an alarm state/timer table, an alarm state list table, an alarm state OR display table, an alarm state change OR display table, and such storage circuits as an alarm state latch circuit, a statistic information memory, etc. A collection means 11 takes out the identifier and data of a cell passes through a switchboard, and an updating means 12 updates the data stored in the means 14 in response to the identifier and the data which are taken out by the means 11. A read means 13 reads out the updated data and sends them to a call processor. An address production means 15 selectively produces the addresses of those data to be updated, and a control means 16 holds the reading operation of the means 13 until a cell slot where no data is updated.</p> |
