<p>The video tape energising is carried out during the reproduction of video tape recorders. The signals, corresp. to the image to be reproduced, are written in an image memory and read out repeatedly from it. After signal storage, the magnetic tape is moved in opposite direction and arrested in a position, from which the magnetic tape can reach the required velocity when the forward run is again operated. The velocity provides a certain number of images in front, or behind, the image stored in the memory. The change between the two transport directions of the magnetic tape follows in a rapid sequence. During a forward motion a recorded standard signal is reproduced, followed by recording of a standard signal. Pref. the recording and reproduction are carried out by different transducers. In the following forward motion phase the transducer function may be exchanged.</p> |
