PURPOSE: To provide a toner removing device having which can give a mark for identification of the device which can be recognized only when it is consciously viewed and which can be surely erased by next toner removing processing. CONSTITUTION: In the toner removing device, toner is removed from transfer paper 1 by applying processing solution to the transfer paper 1 so that the sticking state of the toner to the transfer paper 1 becomes unstable and performing such a processing that the toner on the transfer paper 1 is brought into contact with a peeling belt and separated therefrom, and it is provided with a rugged identification mark forming means forming the rugged identification mark 1a on the surface of the transfer paper 1. A heating drum 12 having a surface where a projecting part or a recessed part 12b is formed or a belt for pressing paper, which is installed in a finishing unit, is used as the identification mark forming means. It is preferable to include information specifying the toner removing device in the identification mark 1a. |
