<p>PURPOSE: To produce an electrostatic charge image developer which has good electrification property and picture quality and is suitable for recycled use of a toner. CONSTITUTION: This carrier is obtd. by forming a resin coating layer containing fluorinated methacrylate resin on magnetic material particles and adding mechanical impact force at the product temp. T satisfying Tg-5 deg.C<=T<=Tg+25 deg.C, wherein Tg is the glass transition temp. of the fluorinated methacrylate resin, to the particles in a fast agitating and mixing machine. The surface of the obtd. resin-coated carrier contains aliphatic alkali metal salt by 50-500ppm weight ratio. Or, the electrostatic charge image developer consists of magnetic particles and a toner containing a coloring agent in a binder resin. The magnetic particles are the carrier produced by applying a resin on magnetite particles, and the carrier consists of a silicone resin-coated carrier having 10<5> -10<10>Ωresistance and acryl resin-coated carrier having higher resistance.</p> |
