PURPOSE: To obtain the semiconductor integrated circuit less in power consumption irrespective of the ewitching direction and capable of being operated at a high speed with a small current even when a heavy load is connected to the circuit. CONSTITUTION: Transistors(TRs) (Qu1, Qu2, Qd1, Qd2) in Darlington connection are used for charging discharge TRs in an output circuit provided at least at one branch of two branches of a differential logic stage, and the TRs are operated at a lower level than the ECL to turn on each TR to be kept ready for a succeeding switching operation. The switching time is reduced independently of a change in potential from a low level to a high level and vice versa and the power consuption is reduced. |
