PURPOSE:To perform highly accurate calibration with a simple constitution by providing a hologram, wherein the specified three-dimensional pattern is stored, and light sources, which cast light beams on the hologram in a plurality of directions, and excluding a movable part. CONSTITUTION:The position of a hologram plate 16 is determined at the accurate position for a world coordinate system (X-Y-Z coordinate system). Then, a camera 10 and light sources 18 and 20 are fixed to unknown positions. Thereafter, the three-dimensional image formed by the reference light beams from the light sources 18 and 20 is picked up by the camera 10. The inner parameters (focal length, the size of a CCD cell and the like) of the camera 10, the outer parameters (attaching positions and the like) and the attaching errors of the light sources 18 and 20 are calibrated based on the picked-up three-dimensional image and the known positions on the world coordinates system of the hologram plate 16. The attaching errors of the light sources 18 and 20 are inversely calculated based on the distortion of the image. |
