<p>Concrete or reinforced-concrete basins for storing, treating or channelling hazardous liquids or drainage water containing such liquids are usually coated on the inside with a composition which is sealed and resistant with respect to said liquids. This very expensive coating is replaced according to the invention by a special concrete, which, for its part, is already resistant with respect to such substances. This concrete contains an additive of silicate dust, the grain size of which is, for the most part, equal to or smaller than 0.125 mu m. The setting of the special concrete can be delayed by conventional measures, e.g. by applying a water-soluble impregnant.</p> |
