PURPOSE:To simply segment an area of a character even when a character being an object of check and its font are revised. CONSTITUTION:A segmentation shape is set by using same segmentation form information 15 for a character or a symbol with a same font through the setting of a segmentation form of a check reference image using the segmentation form information 15 defining the character and/or the symbol being the object of check for each font, and the character or the symbol is checked by using a same check program 13 and even when the font of the character and/or the symbol is revised, the segmentation form is easily set by revising the segmentation form information 15 and the character and/or the symbol is checked by using the same check program 13. |
