<p>PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption and to reduce noise by controlling the number of fans for cooling to be rotated in the case of cooling the circuit board of an information processor by the fans. CONSTITUTION:When a power source 2 is turned on, power is supplied to a package 4, and a ride-on signal 5 showing the mounting of the package 4 is outputted and reported to a control part 6 of a back panel 3. Corresponding to the signal 5, the control part 6 recognizes how many number of packages are mounted, outputs a control signal a8 only to fans 1 to be rotated according to the previously set number of fans 1 for cooling to be rotated corresponding to the number of mounted packages and simultaneously reports that signal to a fan rotating speed control part 10 according to the previously set rotating speed of the fan 1 corresponding to the number of mounted packages 4. The power adjusted by the rotating speed based on a control signal b9 from the control part 10 is supplied to the fan 1 whose switch 7 is turned on by the control signal a8, and the fan is rotated at the rotating speed corresponding to the number of mounted packages 4.</p> |
